3ft Premium 3.5mm Stereo Male to 3.5mm Stereo Male 22AWG Cable (Gold Plated) - Black
The 3.5mm (1/8") stereo TRS connector is more commonly known as the Headphone Jack on portable mp3 players and mobile phones. This cable features a male 3.5mm stereo (TRS) plug on each end, with molded connector housings and strain relief boots. Each connector is gold-plated to ensure smooth, corrosion-free connections.
The cable is made of heavy-duty coaxial cable for each conductor. The conductors are 22AWG and each conductor is shield to prevent EMI or RFI interference from entering your audio system. The cable is 12mm x 6mm thick, while the connector housings are 41mm long x 15mm diameter.
Because of their size and weight these cables are best suited for more permanent connections, such as from your PC to your sound system. Also, because of the size of the connector head, these are unsuited for use with phone cases and may not fit within the expansion slot cutouts on the back of a PC case. If you want something more suitable for these applications, please try one of our standard 3.5mm audio cables.
PROS: Well built.
CONS: Might be a bit big for portable solution or tight in a clumsy space.
PROS: This is a solid piece of equipment and works well.
CONS: If you are looking for something skinny this is not it. It is very beefy and thick.
PROS: does the job
PROS: Heavy duty!
CONS: Not really a "con" but a right angle/90 degree version would be awesome, or even an adapter of comparable build.
PROS: It works
CONS: None. Ok, extra thickness might be a problem if using all the connectors in back of computer to have computer speaker's surround sound... I don't have surround computer speakers so can't say.
PROS: Gold plated connectors, heavy duty, quiet, great price
PROS: Works as expected. HTC Evo
