    6ft RCA Plug/Jack M/F Cable - Black

Despite the introduction of more advanced audio and video signal cables, such as HDMI® and Toslink, most audio and a large number of video connections still use the common RCA connector.

This is a single-channel cable with a male RCA plug on one end and a female RCA jack on the other end, each with molded connector housings and strain relief boots. The cable is ideal for extending low-frequency RCA connections, such as standard audio signals. For higher-frequency signals, such as for RF or composite video, over longer lengths we recommend the use of one of our premium RG-6 or RG-59 based cables.

Bad start but them got it right

    Pros: A OK customer service

Cons: Need better quality control on shipments

I received my order and opened it up. What was inside was not what I had ordered. When looking at the packing slip inside and the shipping label outside, the order numbers were different. That happened on Saturday. On Monday I called customer service and explained the error. They apologized and sent my order 2 day air. I received it on Wednesday. I used RCA extension wires to place my speakers some distance from my sub-woofer and the extension cables made it possible. Got off to a bad started but worked to correct it in best possible manner. Very happy with service and prices.

    Hum when used with turntable

As Ben said, I also got hum when I was trying to extend my turntable to my receiver. The cable did it's job just probably need something higher quality with better shielding.

No good for turntable to amp phono input.

Pros: It's an inexpensive RCA extension cable.

Cons: Hums when used for turntable to amp phono stage extension. Likely too long and lacking sufficient shielding for this application.

Tried these on 3 different tables after they hummed loudly on a table I was placing too far from the amp for the factory RCA cables on a Technics turntable. I needed only about a foot of extension. A loud hum on all 3 tables quit when the extensions were removed.
Likely fine for other applications but not for a turntable to amp phono stage extension. Perhaps a more shielded cable would be required. I will perform surgery on these and shorten them up to see if that does anything...now where is that soldering iron?
