Just what I needed for configuring a used Dell PowerConnect 5324 I bought on eBay.

I didn't realize that the switch requires a null modem cable, so at first I went to Radio Shack and bought their $19.99 Gigaware-brand serial cable. After I realized I needed a null modem cable, I saw that the necessary adapter would cost another $15 from Radio Shack, bringing the total to $35.

Obviously this cable, for less than $2, does exactly what I need it to do without needing a separate adapter. Great deal.
