4 Port Component Video Switch w/ IR Learning

Expand the Component video, digital, and analog audio inputs of your TV set!

    Features:
    - Supports Component Video, Digital (Coaxial, S/PDIF) *5.1 and (RCA) Analog stereo audio signals.
    - IR learning.
    - Remote control included.
    - Push button selection: User may also use the push button on front of unit to select the signal source.
    - High Isolation: In order to transmit high quality component video, we have specially designed circuitry for isolating the adjacent component video input so you can achieve a great picture and crisp audio for  that pure home theatre entertainment experience.
    - Self-termination: For those inputs that are not in-use, our specially designed circuitry allows those unused ports to self-terminate with a 75-ohm load. This is great for signal protection from outside interference.

(*) In order to have the best performance, please check that input and output component video format is the same. (Y Pb Pr or Y Cb Cr)

(**) Component video cable connectors are normally color-coded. Example: Red, Green and Blue are the primary colors needed to display your video accurately. Please make sure you check your connections and they are correct before beginning playback.

    Gets the job done

I needed a way to switch between 2 different 4-channel outputs from a couple of digital processors, and this provided an inexpensive, efficient way or accomplishing this. Fast delivery from Monoprice, as usual. No problems with the device at all at this point.

Others have commented that the "IR Learning" is a bit misleading, in that it can't learn to control devices other than itself. But it does give you the ability to switch inputs from the remote very easily, so I can't complain about that.

Works great with RCA Composite Video also

I was looking for RCA 4-port Composite Video to replace an older box that caused flickering on the projector with mostly white display and frame sync. This box worked great with the Video connected to Green. This is only marketed for Component Video, but worked great for me with Composite Video.

Pros: Easy to hook up, remote comes in handy.

    Cons: Non so far

Only had it a couple of weeks, was easy to hook up and use. I have "Component" A/V equipment with a UHD 4K TV with a 20 year old stereo system. I have noticed any video degradation.

Very customize-able for my use. For a long time I had to keep plugging and un-plugging cables in the back of my TV to watch Netflix or watch a movie via my DVD player. Now with this video switch in place, no more plugging and un-plugging. Just use the remote to change the input device. Very cool.
