Does the job but has some slight image issues

    Pros: Inexpensive

Cons: Slight image issue - shadow

I purchased this item 3 years ago. to split a computers display between two projectors. It does the job but I noticed that there is produces a faint shadow. It is just enough to give the image a bit of out of focus effect. If the projector is plugged into the computer with one of the cables directly, bypassing the splitter, the image is perfect.

    Issues out of the Box

Pros: Product does connect and is switchable between 8 different monitors.

Cons: The quality of the signal is poor at best. After resetting all of the monitor devices they are still not to the quality I expected and on some monitors is illegible.

I had high hopes for this solution and if the video quality were acceptable I would be happy. None of the signals provided to the monitors either on A or B channel is acceptable. They are both very Blurry on every monitor. Even if you turn other monitors off physically and/or on the video matrix.

    Hi Jeff,

Thank for your review on PID 4085. I apologize for the signal issues experienced with this VGA matrix. If I may ask, what are the lengths of the cables being used in this setup? Are any of them ran in-wall? Are there any adapters, couplers, extensions, or other devices connected besides the computers, matrix, and displays? Can we test the matrix with only one computer and one monitor connected at a time to see if performance improves at all? Also, can we try different resolutions? Please let me know so we can look into this matter further. Thank you in advance.

    Regards,

Got it, thank you very much for the in-depth reply! The image should not be distorted with those lengths especially with the 10ft run by itself. I will submit a complaint regarding this issue. For now, if within the one year warranty, I can assist you in setting up an RMA for a replacement matrix to see if a new unit would work out any better. Obtaining the replacement would be of no additional cost to you. If you would like to proceed, please provide the order number for this purchase and I can get that going right away. I am truly sorry for any inconvenience this matrix may have caused. We truly appreciate your feedback.

Pros: . Works great easy to install.

    Cons: None so far

Great success using the chat line on Mono price. Was having trouble connecting multiple monitors to a photo booth at our bed-and-breakfast the system worked as advertised and I now have three monitors connected simultaneously.

Pros: Great option to allow dual access to a projector in a classroom situation. All wires enter in the rear out of sight.

Cons: Would be nice if audio could be integrated as well.
