    Length : 8 inches
    This splitter supports High Resolution.
This splitter tested at 1920X1080 resolution at 75Hz refresh rate and worked perfectly.

(*) Most other splitters can support only 800x600 resolution maximum.

(*) This is a splitter cable. You can only connect one source device (IE: DVD player, cable box or satellite receiver) to two display devices (IE: TV or projector). Pros: Works fine with two short cables

Cons: I wish Monprice would include in the description the length of the max cable it will work with. I purchased to split a 3 feet cable and a 100 foot cable. When a longer cable is used, the images are blurred/double on both monitors.. Product works fine with two short runs, but not with a long run.

    Hello Norsbes,

Thank you for your review. PID 2679 would be a passive splitter so it would share the same signal from the one output and would rely on the power from the source. By sharing the same signal it would not really have a specified limit on the runs that it will support for it would depend on the strength of the signal that is being sent from the output of the device that you are connecting it to. Also, keep in mind that since it shares and splits the same signal it can increase signal degradation. If you are not satisfied with the splitter, I can help in setting up an RMA for a refund. Just let me know and I can help in getting that set up.

    Pros: worked, for a minute

    Cons: Blurry
    Slow

Hello monoprice, I recently bought this VGA Splitter and when i plugged in my monitors, they were very blurry and hard to use as well as wont work. I plugged them in and they worked then i opened a videogame (Minecraft) and then both the monitors said "ERROR: 71.1khz - 60hz please use lower refresh rate" but both monitors work when i plug them in without splitting. Thanks for your time, please get back to me on this!

    Hello,

Thank you for your review. Have you tried re-calibrating your monitors to see if it'll work better? These are required for VGA inputs, thank you!

    Hello,

Thank for your review on PID 2679. I apologize for the signal issues experienced with this VGA splitter. If I may ask, what are the lengths of the cables being used in this setup? Are any of them ran in-wall? Are there any adapters, couplers, extensions, or other devices connected besides the computer, splitter, and displays? Does the issue persist at different resolutions? Please let me know so we can look into this matter further. Thank you in advance.

    Hi
    Thanks for your reply,
No cables lengths is more than 6 ft.and I tried simple connection no any other splitter or anything. please give me solution.

    Thanks

Got it - thank you. This definitely should not be happening with the 6ft runs and direct connections between the computer and displays. If you would like, I can set this up for a replacement as we cover this splitter with a one year warranty. Obtaining the replacement would be of no additional cost to you. Just let me know if you would like to proceed and I will get that started right away. I am truly sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused and I hope this helps!
