    4-Port 2.1A USB Wall Charger

Leave the bulky power adapters at home and charge your USB devices with your USB data cable and this 4-port USB Wall Charger from Monoprice!

This Wall Chargers features four separate USB ports and is capable of putting out a total of 2.1A charging power. You can use your standard USB mini or micro cables to charge your USB capable devices, such as smartphones, mp3 players, tablets, etc. Although any port can put out up to 2.1A of charging power the port on the lower left side, labeled "2A Output" is specifically designed for compatibility with the Apple iPad® devices.

The charger uses a standard, non-polarized US blade plug design (NEMA 1). When not in use, the blades fold sideways into the charger, producing a sleek, slim package that can easily fit into a pocket or purse. The charger measures 2 1/8" wide, 2 7/8" high, and 13/16" thick. A small green LED on the front of the charger illuminates when the charger is plugged into a live power socket.

I guess I should have read the description...

    Pros: It's compact

Cons: It cannot simultaneously charge a tablet and phone

This charger cannot handle charging and tablet and phone at the same time since it is only "capable of putting out a total of 2.1A charging power." As such it is not a true 4-port charger since the point of getting one is to have the ability to charge multiple devices at the same time. Otherwise I would have ordered a single charger.
So now that is what I am using it for.

pretty good deal, but not amazing

Pros: works well for 2-3 devices

Cons: wont work for 4 devices at one time.

I was going to get the charger for 2 devices as that will do most of what I need, but this one with 4 charging spots was only a little more. As it turns out, it wont fully charge all four devices at the same time. No big deal for me really, but if you were to buy this with the intention of using all four spots at once, you will be unhappy with it.

doesn't charge more than 2 devices

    Pros: charges well

Cons: only charges 2 devices, not 3 or 4

Works fine unless you try to plug in 3 or more devices. If you do the 3rd or 4th deivce will switch from connected and charging then disconnected alternately every second or two- even though the cable remains attached. Ultimately won't charge more than 2 devices.

    Pros: Charges fast
    Great value

Happy with my purchase. Use the charger every day for multiple devices. Small and easy to take on trips. It has 4 ports but really at max it seems you can only use 3 at a time as devices go haywire charging on and off if the 2.1 amp port is being used at the same time. Makes sense if the charger's maximum output is 2.1 amps.

Pros: Reduces Plug in chargers needed for multiple devices

    Cons: none after a month

My kids have their own Android tablets they use for games, Plex and education games. The charges that came with the tablets quickly had bent prongs after multiple outlet moving and this was a logical solution as we created a charging 'station' for the kids to plug their devices in at the end of the day. Great solution and solid charger for multiple devices everybody is happy.
