    Classic Guitar Stand

Don't let your guitar go unprotected. Keep it upright and safe from scratches and dings with this Classic Guitar Stand from Monoprice.

This simple three-piece design can be assembled in minutes, yet provides a stable base for holding any guitar or bass guitar. The aluminum tubing is covered in a soft rubber foam to protect the finish of your guitar, while a rubber strap across the neck support ensures that your guitar won't fall out of the stand.

The stand is height adjustable from about 25" ~ 29" at the neck support. The base has a 20.5" span, which gives it rock solid stability, even on carpet.

Note that the rubber tubing will interact with the chemicals in a nitrocellulose finish and can ruin the finish where it comes in contact with the rubber. Never allow a guitar with a nitrocellulose finish to come into contact with rubber tubing.

    • Adjustable Height: Ranges from 25" to 29"
    • Base Width: 20.5"

Pros: Same as Guitar Center stand, for half the price.

Cons: Neither one is heavy duty.

Pretty much the same standard guitar stand you can get at Guitar Center. Get it here, for less.

    Good value but inconsistent quality

Pros: easy to put together. gets job done

    Cons: rust

I ordered two of these guitar stands for my classic guitar and new electric bass that I also order from mono price. The stands came first so I opened them up. Pretty easy to put together and seems to be of good quality, however one of two had major rust. Not very consistent quality there.. There doesn't seem to be any water damage to the box that it came in, so I am just curious how long these will last.

    Hello Sang,

Thank you for your review and sorry to hear of the issues you experienced with PID 602100. If I may ask, did you receive the stand rusted? Would you mind sending photos of the rusted stand?

Thank you for the photos. If you would like I can set up an RMA for a replacement on the stand. Just let me know and I can get that set up.

Pros: Simple sturdy stand for home.

Cons: The bottom brace for the guitar does not lock in place. This is isn't an issue when it is holding the guitar only when it is empty.

I just bought a great electric guitar and I wanted a simple, sturdy stand that was economically priced. This stand fits the bill. Even with the holiday season sales, this item was still cheaper than the similar stand at GC.

This Guitar Stand works well and as expected. If the Guitar is pushed on the head then it could topple over but this is typical of any tripod design. Overall a great stand and excellent value!

Fits my acoustic and electric guitar. Does it's job. Hasn't failed. Cheaper and a better quality than I have gotten from other places.
