    A slick device
A slick little device that is so cost effective, I bought 2 of them.

PROS: cheap, compact - i quite like the stand attachment. no problems connecting to mac or pc.

CONS: would like to see separate controls on the usb channels.

    Worth Every Penny
I think this board is outstanding for the price. I use it with my DJ setup and it works flawlessly. Very clean signal, high quality parts, and everything you need. I would have loved to see an effect or two for the vocals, but hey, for this price I'm just getting greedy. I don't use the USB, so I can't comment on that. I plug in my laptop, and run it from the board to my amp. Exceptionally simple set up, and it works flawlessly. Three thumbs up!

PROS: Excellent options for the money

    4 mic inputs

    Multiple inputs for any device

    separate gains for all mics

CONS: none based on what I need it for

    Flawless
As with a previous reviewer, I received a noticeable hum on the USB input device, but was able to correct it. By changing the sampling rate on the input to the highest setting, the hum went away completely.

PROS: Works as expected - both OSX and Win7 detected the input and output devices.

    CONS: N/A

    Great quality and features!
I use this mixer mainly for recording with my band and it works great. We can plug in a bunch of mics and an e-drum kit and guitars and bass. Everything sounds great and the USB lets us record straight onto the computer. At this price it is a killer deal. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a mixer they can use to record with.

    PROS: Light weight but sturdy.

    Tons of controllability.

USB connection great and easy for recording.

    CONS: None

    USB Hum - Article Provided
I am very interested in this mixer but concerned about the comments. I found this link online which may indicate a problem that's not unique to this mixer.

Can anyone who has this mixer work through this article and post their findings?

    returned product
Didn't have all of the features that I really needed so I returned.

    PROS: as advertised.

    Almost perfect
    Great product
    - works as expected
    - no major issues so far
    - seems like very good overall quality

I would have given 10/10 but when I run the USB audio output to the computer, there is a slight hum. Conversely, when I output over TRS (Phones) to the same computer, the audio is fine.
NOTE: I haven't tried this on multiple computers yet but I have tried multiple USB ports.

Luckily for me, I only wanted to use USB input (from computer mixer) which works great.

Overall, I'm very happy with this product.

    PROS: - good quality
    - functions as documented
    - good variety of inputs

CONS: - USB output has a slight hum

    1khz Hum FIX!
Ah the Hum, everyone is bitching about the Hum! Monoprice is right, it records JUST FINE over USB. What you (like me) have been trying to do is push audio back out at the same time you record. This causes a nice 1khz hum.

So the trick is DONT MONITOR USB OUT ON THE MIXER!

I have been able to resolve the issue and tested. I thought it was just the mac, but other USB devices seemed to work fine. It seemed to work fine on my desktop, but I don't think I've actually been pushing audio back out at the same time (monitoring the audio over USB) on my linux box.

I use renoise on the mac and when I turn on the audio out to be the USB, instant hum... I plugged the headphones into the mac directly, and stopped monitoring the audio through the mixer and, amazing NO HUM.

Monoprice responses are stupid, Its not the power, or anything like that. I've even tested with an independent 12v battery supply, hum is still there. It's only the fact that I was monitoring the audio over usb, while recording.

Get yourself a virtual loopback cable software and monitor through the mac's audio out.

PROS: Great interface for a simple setup

CONS: USB hum at 1khz (and resonance), only on my mac! But I have a solution.

    Great mixer, bad wall wart!
I like everything Monoprice, so when seeing this mixer on sale for around $68 I just had to have it. The mixer itself is wonderful and has everything I need for video recording and capturing audio from interviews and stereo performances.

However, the power supply is the downfall for this product. It could be just my unit, but the wall wart actually "screams". Very high pitch audible screech is generated. Did not check to see if RF interference is generated, simply could not stand the sound. Fortunately, I have about a half dozen power supplies with the same rating, so just swapped the screamer out.

I probably should have dropped the rating by a couple more points, but I must admit I am a Monoprice fanboy, so I forgive them for the very first item that wasn't perfect. And no I will not be returning the mixer because of the power supply.

Just be aware that your power supply may have the same problem.

    PROS: Compact
    cable connections angle toward back
    easy setup and controls

CONS: power supply (wall wart) screams

Amazing quality out of this cheap device!
I love this mixer! It is the perfect size for a mobile DJ like me! I use an all powered setup so having a small tabletop mixer was a good option for me. It's great for having multiple mics or an instrument hooked in. I like how I can have my sound card outputting in stereo RCA, and then have a 3.5 mm input available if someone wants to play something of their phone. Defiantly recommend it and never have thought about going to another brand. The only thing I think about is when I can get the rest of my DJ stuff from here one stop! Thanks Monoprice!!!!

PROS: 4 stereo channels Rugged build, feels expensive, great sound

CONS: output for main is 1/4 inch connection- not super bad
