Pros: -battery pack works well and charges about 1.5x capacity on my Nexus 5

Cons: -flashlight too easily hit to turn on
-seems to charge quite slowly, but hasn't really been an issue for me

As many other reviews have already covered, the flashlight button is far too easily to activate. There have been numerous times where it goes off in my backpack or and remains shining draining battery.
If there is some way for the user to permanently disable the flashlight "feature", this product would be a solid 10/10. Or at least some sort of timing out feature where the light turns itself off. As a result, it's a good product that I am constantly in fear of accidentally draining. When I travel and need the extra battery, I periodically have to look to see if i've accidentally turned it on.

Perfect small usb power backup. Flashlight is a plus

Pros: Small, works with about any usb smartphone. adequate power for an emergency.

Cons: None

This was purchased as a power backup for me cell phone when on a bike trip and the phone drains itself searching for a network in no service areas. There is always power at my overnights so I only need enough juice for one charge. It charged my totally drained Samsung Galaxy S3 to 70% in about an hour. No worthwhile instructions came with the unit so it took me a couple of minutes to figure out that one pressed the button once for charge and twice for flashlight. Think single and double mouse clicks. It fits in my baggie of spare AA batteries and charger with no problem.

Great combination of uses, Issues started in second month

Pros: Greatly useful flashlight
Recharged phone fast and its level indicator seemed accurate

Cons: As noted by others, the button is easily pressed, though it was never a problem in my backpack I could see it being an issue in a purse with other hard small objects.

This was a handy little item well worth the $13.10 I spent on it even though it had issues within a couple months of frequent use.

The issue I have now is that it will not charge other devices and the green light stays on constantly, as if it is plugged in. It drains itself after a few days, but in the meantime the flashlight works with the double tapped button just fine. I've kept it around in hopes it will fully discharge and start working again, but I think it's now just a flashlight with a permanent flashing light on it, which isn't a bad thing but it isn't why I bought it.

I'd give this at least an 8 if it didn't have an issue.

Hi Jason,

Thank you for your review and truly sorry to hear about your experience with PID 9752. Did anything change when letting the battery run out completely to reset it? When connecting to other devices have you tried switching out the cable? Should the issue persist, we do offer a 30 day return policy as well as a one year warranty on this item. If you would like I can assist you in setting up an RMA for a replacement which will be of no additional cost to you. Please let me know if you would like to proceed with a replacement. Switch turns on too easily

  • Sirtriz,

Pros: Compact, bright flashlight

Cons: Switch turns on too easily & accidentally

I got this as a gift for someone because the battery pack I wanted to get was out of stock. This one is a convenient compact size and the flashlight is a nice bonus. It will fully charge an iphone. However, I almost didn't give this as a gift because the switch on it is so easily and accidentally activated with just the lightest touch. I didn't want this to accidentally drain the battery in the recipient's purse and defeat the purpose of its function. Still I gave it explaining the dilemma. Once you have the other one back in stock I will probably give her that as well because this switch problem is a drawback. Otherwise it would be perfect.
