Pros: Small, easily installed, inexpensive, fairly effective.

Cons: Cons? It doesn't change your life ... or make it seem like the broadcast is coming from just down the road ...

I've had one of these up and running for a while now ... and with mixed, but generally good results. It's always been susceptible to multipath problems, and a station that comes in fine pixelates and sometimes disappears altogether when, for instance, a plane goes by. I've got it mounted outdoors, but on an upstairs deck railing, where I can step out on the deck and redirect it, since I live between two major cities. Of course, that doesn't help much with the multipath, but it can occasionally gain some signal strength.
I recently ordered another of these when it went on sale, because it has seemed to be getting less and less "strong" in pulling the signals I need. I think I've read somewhere that the type of amplifier this antenna uses will deteriorate over time. I haven't swapped in the new one yet, but will soon.
I guess all this says that it's a product I'd buy again (just did!) and would recommend, but with the understanding that it's not miraculous - but it's pretty good at what it does. And like more and more people, I'll put up with a lot rather than subscribe to cable to watch broadcast stations I only watch occasionally. The rest of the time, we're streaming Amazon, PBS, Netflix, etc., with our trusty Roku and a Verizon FiOS account.

    Cutting the Cox Cable cord

    Pros: Its all good!

Cons: Cable company won't be getting $125 every month from me.

Got one of these just to see if I could cut the Cox Cable cord. I am 20 miles from Providence and was just hoping to draw in the network affiliates. The HD TV did its channel search routine and I was absolutely thrilled to have very strong digital stations from PVD, but was even more amazed to draw in another dozen HD channels from Boston, 70 miles away!

Ordered two more for the other televisions in the house.

Not as good as Clear TV

Pros: It is compact and comes with all needed equipment and cables.

Cons: Does not do as well as a $10 indoor antenna.

I had ordered a Clear TV from a TV ad and it works better indoors that this antenna. Since I life in a rented unit I cannot mount it outdoors. I do live in area about 30 miles from a major city.

Antenna is as advertised. Customer service lacks

    Pros: It worked well

Cons: Poorly manufactured and not backed by Monoprice.

I live 50 miles from Chicago and the antenna got some but not all of the over the air stations depending on which room I had it in the house. I then tried to install it outside but the femail coxail end on the antenna stripped out so I was unable to disconnect it from its spot in the house. Unfortunately I had already attached the mount to the side of my house and ran the cable inside. I called Monoprice told them of the issue they emailed me and told me to send it all back in its box then they would ship me a new one. Trouble is the box is gone and half is bolted to my house. I was highly disappointed that Monoprice didn't stand by their product better.
