Adjustable 10 lb. Capacity Speaker Wall Mount Brackets (Pair), Black

Easily mount your satellite speakers on your wall with this Speaker Wall Mounting Bracket kit from Monoprice!

These brackets are designed to mount small satellite speakers with a single-bolt, two-hole (2" - 2.75" spacing), or keyhole mounting systems. Each bracket can support a speaker weighing up to about 10 lbs. Each bracket can be tilted and swiveled, so you can point each speaker to the proper angle for the optimum audio experience.

The brackets can be mounted to wooden stud or brick/concrete/hollow-block walls and includes the hardware necessary for either type of mounting option.

Note: The included extension is intended for ceiling mounting solutions only. When used in a wall mounting situation the extension increases the leverage of the weight of the speakers on the mount, thereby decreasing the load capacity.

    Not totally universal

Pros: Looks good and they are inexpensive

Cons: The mounts do not fit the Harmon Kardon HKTS 15 satellite speakers

I have a Harmon Kardon HKTS 15 speaker setup and the mounting brackets DO NOT fit the satellite speakers. I decided not to return the product because it was so inexpensive and I gave the product to my Father.

Good light duty product for the price. May drill holes to help the set screws hold position better

    10 lbs - No Way x2

Pros: At $3 you just can't be mad. For very light speakers these mounts are probably perfect. The quality is actually pretty solid - well formed with good fit. For light speakers, they should work superbly.

Cons: 10lb capacity is vastly overstated. The material and design is simply insufficient for the weight rating.

I will 100% echo Scott's review. I used these to install some 5.9lb Pinnacle monitors and they are iffy at best. The design *is* clever, but the entire mount is made of fairly soft plastic which is easy to deform. Because of this, there are only two possible ways to employ these brackets with anything weighing over a pound or two - either hanging speakers from the top or supporting from the bottom. Hanging from the top you run a serious risk of a joint slipping apart. Supporting from the bottom you run a serious risk of a joint bending until it falls apart. My Pinnacles have been up for just over a week and the plastic is already seriously deformed. I'll be replacing these mounts soon.

A little flimsy feeling but do the job.

Pros: Cheap, handle the weight they claim and comes with all the mounting parts you will need.

Cons: A little flimsy and some speakers may require you modify the mounting kit a little to get what you want.

I ordered these for mounting the small 5.1 Monoprice home surround system. They do the trick but it takes a little modification. The screws were too long to mount the speakers from the top mounting screw (I was mounting to the ceiling) but once a sheared it off with a metal saw, it worked fine. They use set screws to link the parts together and the plastic is a little flimsy and tends to bend and "smush" out of the connection when the screw is tightened.

    10 lbs - No Way

    Pros: Clever design
    Inexpensive

    Cons: Capacity significantly overstated

Attempted to mount 4.9 lb speakers using these mounts which supposedly have a 10lb capacity. Angle joints don't have teeth, and they wouldn't hold the speaker at angle without slipping. These are clever inexpensive little mounts, but the capacity is seriously overstated. Depending on how you cantilever, I would say 3 lb max capacity.
