Adjustable 10 lb. Capacity Speaker Wall Mount Brackets (Pair), Black

Easily mount your satellite speakers on your wall with this Speaker Wall Mounting Bracket kit from Monoprice!

These brackets are designed to mount small satellite speakers with a single-bolt, two-hole (2" - 2.75" spacing), or keyhole mounting systems. Each bracket can support a speaker weighing up to about 10 lbs. Each bracket can be tilted and swiveled, so you can point each speaker to the proper angle for the optimum audio experience.

The brackets can be mounted to wooden stud or brick/concrete/hollow-block walls and includes the hardware necessary for either type of mounting option.

Note: The included extension is intended for ceiling mounting solutions only. When used in a wall mounting situation the extension increases the leverage of the weight of the speakers on the mount, thereby decreasing the load capacity.

    Great Little Mounts for Satellites

Pros: Inexpensive, easy to install, adjustable

Cons: Pressure connections (allen wrench) will likely slip over time (too much pressure can strip threads)

These were easy to install and easily support small rear satellite speakers. The adjustments rely on clamp pressure (no ratches to lock in place), so they may loosen/slip over time, but they should be fine for wall-mount speakers. They come with quite a few screws to mount to the speakers, but be prepared to get more. There was only 1 screw in each kit that fit my Sony speakers (which needed 2 per speaker), so I had to get more, but they are inexpensive. All in all, satisfied with what I got for a very reasonable price.

Get the job done, but Ample room for improvement

    Pros: gets the job done.

Cons: extension cannot be used for wall mounting,
    no cable management
Initial fear of not holding up
not very confidence inspiring in terms of positioning the speaker because it would start to slip at any angle.

Got this and used it after almost 2 months of procrastinating. The plastic is firm enough without the extension (As they said) for wall mount but the design being smooth and not toothed, the speaker barely sits firm. the least bit of over-tightening would make the screw slip . No cable management means wires are o you and the BIGGEST flaw of all, they make it universal but supply only 1 screw of each type for putting the speaker there. Maybe they are victim od their own excellence that we expect higher standards from them, but these are really tiny improvements to the design and packaging that would make the product much better without significant price bump. Hope some1's listening.

    Not totally universal

Pros: Looks good and they are inexpensive

Cons: The mounts do not fit the Harmon Kardon HKTS 15 satellite speakers

I have a Harmon Kardon HKTS 15 speaker setup and the mounting brackets DO NOT fit the satellite speakers. I decided not to return the product because it was so inexpensive and I gave the product to my Father.

Good light duty product for the price. May drill holes to help the set screws hold position better

    10 lbs - No Way x2

Pros: At $3 you just can't be mad. For very light speakers these mounts are probably perfect. The quality is actually pretty solid - well formed with good fit. For light speakers, they should work superbly.

Cons: 10lb capacity is vastly overstated. The material and design is simply insufficient for the weight rating.

I will 100% echo Scott's review. I used these to install some 5.9lb Pinnacle monitors and they are iffy at best. The design *is* clever, but the entire mount is made of fairly soft plastic which is easy to deform. Because of this, there are only two possible ways to employ these brackets with anything weighing over a pound or two - either hanging speakers from the top or supporting from the bottom. Hanging from the top you run a serious risk of a joint slipping apart. Supporting from the bottom you run a serious risk of a joint bending until it falls apart. My Pinnacles have been up for just over a week and the plastic is already seriously deformed. I'll be replacing these mounts soon.
