    Great little device
For $50 i'm very happy with the capability that this has added to my vsx-1021k receiver. I am sure it is far less expensive that the pioneer proprietary Bluetooth add-on that probably doesn't support aptX (all Bluetooth audio devices I buy from now on will be aptX compatible)

    PROS: -Simple to use
-Puts audio out of optical and 1/8" simultaneously (with the audio perfectly in sync too), which is great for receivers with two zones that don't share digital inputs well, or if you have two separate amps
-I've use this with an Evo 4g LTE and the audio quality with the aptX algorithm is phenomenal for Bluetooth audio.
    -Nice and small
-If you have non-techie family with NFC enabled phones this is the perfect device for you

CONS: These really aren't cons, just more of a wish list
-Wish it used micro-usb for power, would make a great car accessory for those with automobiles with an aux jack.
-Range is okay but not great (I think it's more of a result of the Bluetooth standard), i'd say 20' with line of site, 10-15' with typical home obstructions.
-I think it's priced fair, but lower is always better...

Do one thing, and do it well.
If you have a smartphone that supports the APT-X audio codec and carry music on your phone/tablet, then you need this receiver. Listen to your music at near CD quality through your entertainment center over Bluetooth. It's like having a jukebox at your fingertips.

This receiver is straightforward and does its job well. I haven't had any issues, and it sounds great. Do yourself a favor and get this for your living room. You'll be glad you did.

PROS: * Easy pairing with NFC for Jellybean (and straightforward bluetooth pairing otherwise)
    * APT-X audio sounds great considering this is the only way audiophiles should listen to Bluetooth audio
    * Simplicity: plug it in, power it up, pair it, listen.

CONS: Hardly a con, but this device is very light the cables connected to it are heavier than the device itself, so it can be difficult to get it to sit nicely on your entertainment center.

    Bought 2
    see pros & cons

PROS: 1 is working great at my home. Great sound quality, Good range, about 30-35ft, and easy BluTooth connection. I have a very large living dinning area. I have it on top of my system cabinet.

CONS: 2 was installed at relatives home. Range was poor, but improved some after moving it up & out from the low shelf . I plan to get a longer connector to move it even higher and away from systems to see if I can improve the range. It was no comparison to my 1 range .

    Solid aptX Bluetooth transmission
This device is small and light. The unit has it's own power supply. I paired my Samsung S4 via NFC in less that 10 seconds. This device uses aptX technology which allows the audio quality to be transmitted in CD quality. During pauses, with my volume turned up pretty high there was no humming or static. I paired an Ipad and an Iphone and the connections all remained intact. Not having to keep pairing is an awesome feature. This is a great addition to a high end home theater. Keeping in line with Monoprice's great prices, I think a $29 price point would be perfect for this device.

PROS: Small, Easy to pair, Pair up to 8 devices. Absolute best Bluetooth audio transmission due to aptX technology.

CONS: Probably about $20 more than it should be.

    Blue-tooth Receiver
The wireless, blue-tooth receiver for my existing sound system performs as described by Monoprice. I thought the unit was well priced, very easy to install and sync with my iPhone and my iPad.

PROS: Easy plug-in to available RCA input at my existing sound system.
Quick sync/paring with my iPhone and iiPad.

    CONS: None

    Great Experience
Great product. Sound quality is very good for a BT device. The RCA output level is a bit lower than other devices that I have connected to my receiver. Although it's possible that my receiver has an issue with the particular input that I'm using. I haven't tested that. I'm going to hook it up using an optical cable and see if that makes a difference. Don't let this deter you from purchasing this product. It has plenty of signal strength, just not as much as other devices I'm using.

In my set up, I can't get 33 feet away from it with a clear line of sight to actually test at that distance. I can get 25 feet away from it, and it works fine at that distance. If there are obstructions between transmitter and receiver (Walls, Countertops, etc...), the signal can degrade quickly, but that's to be expected with Bluetooth RF.

Overall, I'm very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone.

    PROS: Small size

    Multiple output options

    Easy set up

CONS: Nominal distance between iPhone and this device seems to vary.

    Good purchase!
I just received my bluetooth receiver and immediately connected it to my HTC input and Samson amp with a couple of JBL outdoor speakers for output. I walked through my 1300 sq. ft. home and had no connectivity issues until I was separated by 3 walls which would be abnormal. I even walked into one bathroom and closed the door with no problems.

My only disappointment was shipping, which took 7 business days. That's USPS for ya!

    PROS: Good range.

    Good audio.

    As advertised.

    CONS: None.

    Good Bluetooth Receiver
Good little Bluetooth receiver. Audio quality is good - you will never get as good a quality as you will with hard wired components, but this is the nature of Bluetooth. None the less, audio quality is still very good.

I use this for audio only in my workshop, connected to my iPhone. iPhone sits 20 to 25 ft from unit. I have never had any dropouts or hesitations. Unit has worked flawlessly for almost a month now. The only drawback ( which is very minor) is that if you power the unit off, it does not automatically recognize your device next time you power it back up. You have to manually connect to Bluetooth receiver through Bluetooth settings on your device. But this really isn't an issue, and I am extremely satisfied with this unit in general.

PROS: No dropouts with iPhone. Decent audio quality Easy to install and set up

CONS: Have to manually reconnect after powering down- does not automatically recognize your device.

BEST ANSWER: Yes, but you will need to get a lot of adapters; first to break out the stereo signal into 2 TRS (phone jack) connectors and then to convert from 1/8 (3.5mm) to 1/4" TRS (phone jack) connectors. Those speakers are really designed for microphone input.
