Enhanced Bass Hi-Fi Noise Isolating Earphones - Black

With its stylish design, these Monoprice earphones will prompt complete strangers to ask you where you got them, but you won't hear a word they say as you rock on down the highway!

Made with a noise-isolating design and producing clear and solid sound, these earphone are a great way to enjoy your favorite music from your iPod or other portable music device. They fit comfortably into the ears and produce solid bass notes and clear midrange tones, both normally a weakness in earphones, thanks to the large 14.2 mm driver unit. The package includes three different sized pairs of silicone earbuds, for a better, more comfortable fit.

The 48" cord terminates in a gold-plated 3.5 mm stereo plug, which connects to most popular music devices and phones, with better connectivity and corrosion resistance than the more common nickel and tin-plated connectors.

The end result is a pair of earphones that are made for the rigors of daily use from the music fan on the go! Amazing sound clarity, hard-rocking bass, and durability. Who could ask for more?

What? You want Aerosmith to play at your birthday party? OK, you CAN ask for more!

Note: For best results these earphones should be broken in by playing pink noise through them for about 24 hours. The difference in sound quality before and after the pink noise break-in period can be quite dramatic.

    Pros: sound, price

    Cons: fit, for some

Good balanced sound, Speakers larger than most in its price category. Can be difficult to fit and retain in your hear compared to other models. Great sound for the price....none can match. The Hi-Reflective fit more people I suspect and sound very good as well.

Pros: For $3.00 these can't be beat! Highly recommended!

Cons: Not the greatest build quality but not that bad either. The sound trumps everything.

These sound great! For $3.00, what a bargain! Don't pay more until you try these.

    Remarkable for $7

    Pros: Tonal balance, separation, price

    Cons: Cable is noisy

Bought these to have a disposable earphone around, all the freebies I have sound pretty dreadful.
For $7 shipped on sale, these are remarkable. Fairly lean, bass is there, but slightly recessed but the good part is that the upper bass and lower midrange are far clearer than any cheap earphone and even some spendy ones. Vocals are in general excellent. There is a bit of an upward tilt, and female voices in higher registers can get a bit harsh. This is especially true at higher volume, it is pretty easy to overdrive these earphones. There is a decent sense of separation between various voices and instruments, although overall soundstage is not very large, doesn't extend much outside your head.
The included rubber tips are just OK for comfort and don't block out much outside sound. I suspect that foam tips would be a big upgrade.
The only significant gripe is that the cabling is very noisy, any time the cable brushes across your clothing it is very audible.
Would really, really like to see a version of this with mic and playback controls.

Updated: I bought some cheap Bluecell foam tips from Amazon, $7 for 10 pr + 10 pr rubber tips. These are not open cell like Comply, they are closed cell. That means they can be cleaned and should be a lot more durable, but they're not quite as soft and compressible. But still made a noticeable improvement. Isolation is better, bass is in balance with the rest of the frequency range, and comfort is better, although not as good as Comply. Very worthwhile upgrade for cheap. Definitely not an earphone for bassheads even with the foam tips, but to me it's very realistic and leaves the upper bass/lower mids untouched.

Pros: Pros: Wide, balanced frequency range. Fit my ears well

Cons: Cons: Cable causes loud rumbling to be heard in earphones, very microphonic.

Best sounding earphones under 10,2 0 or 30 bucks. Better than many above that range as well. Relatively balanced sound signature, the bass isn't boomy, but it extends down to 20 Hz pretty well, I used Bass Mekanik car stereo test tones to check it out.

    Best earbuds under $100

    Pros: Price.
    Amazing sound quality
    Hits 24 hz without issue.
They can get LOUD with zero distortion.

Cons: It's hard to find a con for these at this price range. The cable could be a bit thicker so they don't tangle so easy, but it's actually a quite nice braided cable.

There is nothing else on the market under $100 that can even come close to these earbuds. Are there better sounding earbuds? Yes, but your going to spend well north of $150 to find them. If you lose them, they're cheap enough to replace, can't say that with an expensive pair.
