Enhanced Bass Hi-Fi Noise Isolating Earphones - Black

With its stylish design, these Monoprice earphones will prompt complete strangers to ask you where you got them, but you won't hear a word they say as you rock on down the highway!

Made with a noise-isolating design and producing clear and solid sound, these earphone are a great way to enjoy your favorite music from your iPod or other portable music device. They fit comfortably into the ears and produce solid bass notes and clear midrange tones, both normally a weakness in earphones, thanks to the large 14.2 mm driver unit. The package includes three different sized pairs of silicone earbuds, for a better, more comfortable fit.

The 48" cord terminates in a gold-plated 3.5 mm stereo plug, which connects to most popular music devices and phones, with better connectivity and corrosion resistance than the more common nickel and tin-plated connectors.

The end result is a pair of earphones that are made for the rigors of daily use from the music fan on the go! Amazing sound clarity, hard-rocking bass, and durability. Who could ask for more?

What? You want Aerosmith to play at your birthday party? OK, you CAN ask for more!

Note: For best results these earphones should be broken in by playing pink noise through them for about 24 hours. The difference in sound quality before and after the pink noise break-in period can be quite dramatic.

    Pros: -Great sound quality
    -Fairly durable
    -Comfortable
-Good seal to keep out sound

Cons: -Wears out quickly (I am, admittedly, a bit rough with them)
    -Cloth cord tangles easily

These are really great earbuds. I'm not an audiophile, but from what I can tell, they are pretty solid. I enjoy earbuds with solid bass and a good seal to keep the sound out. These do both. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars and not 5 is that I tend to break them fairly regularly. It's fine since they are so cheap so I can just order a new pair and I've bought more expensive headphones that are actually more fragile than these. These are the best cheap earbuds around. Cheap is not a bad thing in this case. It just is what it is.

Clean highs and mids, almost no lows.

    Pros: Clean Highs and Mids
    Good cable
    Comfortable once rotated properly
    Good noise isolation

Cons: Lack of low end or bass
Took me a while to fit them properly

At first, they were very uncomfortable like everyone else is saying. Then I played around with them and turned/rotated them in my ear in a way that seemed unnatural but the cord was vertically pointing down and that seemed to clear up any comfort issues. After that, I had no issues with the way they sat in my ear. As for In Ear Monitors, they are just OK. They have pretty clean highs and mids, but they are certainly not heavy or anywhere near "Enhanced" on the low end of audio. I would say they would be great for someone using them for Vocals that didn't care about kick, bass, or the low end of the keys. I think they would be great for anyone listening to spoken word such as podcasts or audiobooks. They have a nice cord also. Pretty good noise isolation also. For $7.99, I'm defiantly fine with them. But I would rather spend $20 more and get a fuller range of audio.

    Good quality, very uncomfortable

Pros: Great audio quality, very durable, they look cool and fancy, cheap

    Cons: Extremely uncomfortable, awkward design

Basically for $7.99 you're getting earphones of very good audio quality, at the expense of an extremely uncomfortable design. You kinda have to really shove it in your ear and even then the pattern on the circle...thing graze against your inner ear and cause uncomfortableness and at worst pain. THAT BEING SAID the audio quality is extremely good given the price and I can put up with the pain because of it. If that sounds like a dealbreaker then buy some $15.99 sony ones which are far more comfortable, but have noticably lower audio quality. I still really like these and again for the price you can't go wrong.
