Enhanced Bass Hi-Fi Noise Isolating Earphones - Black

With its stylish design, these Monoprice earphones will prompt complete strangers to ask you where you got them, but you won't hear a word they say as you rock on down the highway!

Made with a noise-isolating design and producing clear and solid sound, these earphone are a great way to enjoy your favorite music from your iPod or other portable music device. They fit comfortably into the ears and produce solid bass notes and clear midrange tones, both normally a weakness in earphones, thanks to the large 14.2 mm driver unit. The package includes three different sized pairs of silicone earbuds, for a better, more comfortable fit.

The 48" cord terminates in a gold-plated 3.5 mm stereo plug, which connects to most popular music devices and phones, with better connectivity and corrosion resistance than the more common nickel and tin-plated connectors.

The end result is a pair of earphones that are made for the rigors of daily use from the music fan on the go! Amazing sound clarity, hard-rocking bass, and durability. Who could ask for more?

What? You want Aerosmith to play at your birthday party? OK, you CAN ask for more!

Note: For best results these earphones should be broken in by playing pink noise through them for about 24 hours. The difference in sound quality before and after the pink noise break-in period can be quite dramatic.

    Really good for the money

Pros: Pretty good build quality, nice bass and midrange. Very listenable. What more can you ask for at this price?

Cons: High frequencies can be a little harsh.

I bought these because I read somewhere that they were really good. When I first listened to them, I was not impressed very shrill and harsh, but after a few minutes they seemed to smooth out. I changed to the largest included ear bud for a better seal and this really improved the bass. High frequencies are still a bit harsh, but overall they're very listenable. May be they'll smooth out more with more listening time. The overall build quality seems to be pretty good.

    Pros: Cheap, Cloth wires.

Cons: Probably better then skull candy, but I would probably not buy them at all. Item PID 11534 is far better with bass. These don't sound that great either tbh.

    Weird Looking

Pros: Fantastic sound and blocks out most noise

    Cons: None

Absolutely incredibly sound for the price. Size/shape helps isolate noise.

Pros: Great price that makes them easily replaceable (I go through a lot of earbuds because of gym time)

Cons: They get tangled very easily and kind of difficult to untangle
Itchy ears after using them for a while.

These are very good for the price, and when I need new earbuds, I will probably keep picking these up.

    Pros: Strong bass
    Amazing treble
    Clear mids
    Great overall clarity
Comfortable, once you figure out fit
    Strong wire

Cons: MASSIVE 35 hour burn in period
Hard to figure out a good fit
    Tangle easily

These earbuds are excellent, but they DEFINITELY need some SERIOUS burn in before they sound their best.
Right out of the box, they were not too good, the treble was front and center, the mids were muddy, and there was no bass.
I gave them a full 24 hours of burn in, as recommended by Monoprice, by playing pink noise at moderate volume, and after that, the mids were clear, and the treble was much clearer, and very elevated, and the bass was barely there.
So, after about a week of light use, i gave them another 10 hours of burn in. This fixed all the wonkiness, the treble is still even better, though still with a strong presence, the bass is strong and clear, and the mids are crystal clear. I sometimes even choose to use these over my AKG K7XX $200 headphones, they are that good.
I would have to say the one drawback to these are the fit, it took me about a week to figure out how to comfortably put these in my ears, and i still have to adjust once in a while, so you are just gonna have to figure that out on your own, a lot of other people have recommended different fits.
All in all, these are amazing for the price
Now i want to try other Monoprice buds
