Enhanced Bass Hi-Fi Noise Isolating Earphones - Black

With its stylish design, these Monoprice earphones will prompt complete strangers to ask you where you got them, but you won't hear a word they say as you rock on down the highway!

Made with a noise-isolating design and producing clear and solid sound, these earphone are a great way to enjoy your favorite music from your iPod or other portable music device. They fit comfortably into the ears and produce solid bass notes and clear midrange tones, both normally a weakness in earphones, thanks to the large 14.2 mm driver unit. The package includes three different sized pairs of silicone earbuds, for a better, more comfortable fit.

The 48" cord terminates in a gold-plated 3.5 mm stereo plug, which connects to most popular music devices and phones, with better connectivity and corrosion resistance than the more common nickel and tin-plated connectors.

The end result is a pair of earphones that are made for the rigors of daily use from the music fan on the go! Amazing sound clarity, hard-rocking bass, and durability. Who could ask for more?

What? You want Aerosmith to play at your birthday party? OK, you CAN ask for more!

Note: For best results these earphones should be broken in by playing pink noise through them for about 24 hours. The difference in sound quality before and after the pink noise break-in period can be quite dramatic.

    Not worth it

    Pros: Cheap

    Cons: Fit, Sound.

I purchased these based upon the positive reviews I've read online. I was just looking for some cheap in-ear headphones. These are definitely cheap, in my opinion too cheap. They work, but the sound quality is not very good (very harsh). I'm also not a fan of the way they fit in the ear lobe (the adjustable tips gives you a decent fit in the ear canal, I just didn't like the way the rest of the headphone house sits in your ear lobe).

    Pros: -Great sound quality
    -Fairly durable
-Good seal to keep out sound

Cons: -Wears out quickly (I am, admittedly, a bit rough with them)
    -Cloth cord tangles easily

These are really great earbuds. I'm not an audiophile, but from what I can tell, they are pretty solid. I enjoy earbuds with solid bass and a good seal to keep the sound out. These do both. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars and not 5 is that I tend to break them fairly regularly. It's fine since they are so cheap so I can just order a new pair and I've bought more expensive headphones that are actually more fragile than these. These are the best cheap earbuds around. Cheap is not a bad thing in this case. It just is what it is.

    Good sound, awful design

Pros: Good sound, especially for the price.

Cons: Really bad design. REALLY really bad.

Okay really these earbuds sound good. Probably due to the larger drivers. They're much much better than my Apple earbuds or earpods or whatever they're called.

But seriously what the hell is this design? Why couldn't they just be normal earbuds? I don't even know how to put these in my ear, but I'm confident I've been doing it wrong because the braided cord has already torn right at the end that connects to the earpiece. Is the "wing" supposed to go up? Forward? Wtf?

I like these headphones but I probably won't buy another pair because they don't make any sense. If these earbuds were just normal earbuds that I didn't have to google in order to find out how to use them, this would definitely be a glowing 5-star review. But the good sound is overshadowed by the bad design.
