Enhanced Bass Hi-Fi Noise Isolating Earphones - Silver

With a stylish design and a premium fabric-covered cord, these Monoprice earphones will prompt complete strangers to ask you where you got them, but you won't hear a word they say as you rock on down the highway!

Made with a noise-isolating design and producing clear and solid sound, these earphone are a great way to enjoy your favorite music from your iPod or other portable music device. They fit comfortably into the ears and produce solid bass notes and clear midrange tones, both normally a weakness in earphones, thanks to the large 14.2 mm driver unit.

The 48" cord is completely covered in fabric, which helps prevent breakages. The gold-plated 3.5 mm stereo plug connects to most popular music devices and phones, with better connectivity and corrosion resistance than the more common nickel and tin-plated connectors.

The end result is a pair of earphones that are made for the rigors of daily use from the music fan on the go! Amazing sound clarity, hard-rocking bass, and durability. Who could ask for more?

What? You want Aerosmith to play at your birthday party? OK, you CAN ask for more!

Note: For best results these earphones should be broken in by playing pink noise through them for about 24 hours. The difference in sound quality before and after the pink noise break-in period can be quite dramatic.

Pros: Cheap, reasonably good sound

Cons: Insufficient strain relief

I have a tendency to destroy headsets by walking around listening to podcasts with my phone in my pants pocket. Thus, I'm always on the lookout for a cheap pair of replacements. This pair served that purpose for a while, but relatively quickly I developed a bulge at the bottom of the headphones. It seems like the wire underneath has popped out of the braided outer sheath. I leave the headphones on my desk now, and it does a reasonable job there.

This is my second purchase of the same item. That concludes how good this pair of earphones is for the price.

Pros: Relatively inexpensive
Nice sound
Fabric covered wire
Came with extra rubber earbud fittings

Cons: Wires became tangled
No bass

These earbuds were an exceptional value when I first bought them (back in April 2013). You can buy cheaper 'phones now that can deliver the same or better quality. One thing that I was not happy with is how the wires would tangle easily and over time got several kinks especially closer to the earpieces. Eventually that's where the fabric sheathing wore off and the plastic insulation broke exposing the wires which became frayed with use. I would only recommend these if you can't find a cheaper alternative.

Pros: Great value. Sound is comparable to headphones that cost 20x more.

Cons: Bulky size and quality of flange tips.

Sound is great, especially for the price. There are 3 different sized flange tips included, but the quality of them isn't as good as some other headphones (you could probably shop around for better flange tips and still spend much less than more expensive headphones). The headphones themselves are quite large (as big as grandpa's hearing aids from the 1980s, but the color is a little nicer) but I was able to find a comfortable angle to fit in my ears.

Pros: Gotta get use to them first

Cons: Gotta get use to them first

Beez Kneez in my opinion. Use them at work!
