    Learn more about Monoprice Business

Premium Hi-Fi DJ Style Over-the-Ear Pro Headphone

DJs can put in some long hours as they spin the tunes and they need equipment that is both comfortable and rugged enough to withstand heavy use. These Monoprice Pro Headphones are designed for the professional sound spinner and the casual listener that wants the best quality sound and best durability available.

The earpieces on these 'phones are equipped with thick, comfortable padding that keeps the music inside and the noise outside. They swivel up to 90 degrees so they can double as a makeshift set of speakers. The headphones can extend up to 1.5" on each side and are wide enough to fit over a cap, while maintaining good contact over the ears. The headpiece is also padded on the inside and is made of flexible rubber, ensuring that it won't break.

The headsets do not have a fixed wire. Instead, there is a 3.5 mm jack in the bottom of the left earpiece, which allows a standard 3.5 mm audio patch cable to be inserted. This means that if you break a wire, you don't have to throw away the headphones or make a messy repair; just get a new cable and you're ready to rock again!

The 50 mm drivers and 100 dB sensitivity ensure that these 'phones produce good volume and premium sound clarity at all frequencies. The kit comes with two 3.5 mm male-to-male, gold-plated audio cables and a 3.5 mm to 1/4" gold-plated adapter plug.

The thicker cable is over 11.5 ft long and is well suited for professional work and for laying back on your couch to enjoy the tunes. A thinner, lightweight cable is also included, which measures about 50" in length and is better suited for more portable operations.

High-quality sound, supreme durability, and maximum comfort. These ARE the 'phones you've been looking for!

Awesome sound for the price! Highly recommended!

Pros: Very pleasant sound. Good bass reproduction. Nice mids, nice vocals. Not fatiguing to wear for hours.

Cons: Cheap plastic build. Ear pads could have bren softer. Not as sharp or crisp as more costly cans. Right side driver had annoying buzz during recent flight. It went away once plane landed though. But seriously... for the price there are no cons!

For the price... An absolute bargain! They sound great. I have 5 more sets of cans that I paid 5-10x more for and these rank as my 2nd favorite!

Pros: Cheap, sound great, keeps my ears warm

Cons: the cord is a little stiff, but since it's a 3.5mm plug on both ends, you can just change it out if you really want to

They sound and feel great. I got them during black friday (15.99). They sound just great. I have a pair of older sony's that I paid over $100 back in the day and these sound as good. For streaming internet audio, they work perfectly. I am sure you can spend a lot more and get nicer sound, but I am not sure how much nicer.

    More then you'd expect.

This headphone provides a great value but you should expect sacrifices.

The plastic material feels solid if a bit uninspiring. The hinges are strong and have good smooth movement. The padding is quite cheap and it feels it. The cables are sub par but get the job done. Comfort is subpar, bordering on painful for some. Very plain packaging tho I actually prefer it that way, even if I were buying Stax SR009's or Alpha Dogs.

Somewhat loose and rolled off bass with distortion but otherwise neutral. Clean mids that are missing some presence. Smooth highs that are missing some air and detail.

Good beaters that are easy to drive. Don't waist money trying to improve them if you want better sound and are planing to use as a main can. Save up and buy better headphones instead like the ATH M50X's, NAD VISO HP50, or Focal Spirit Pro. Invest in good headphones before you invest in better AMP/DAC gear.

    Happy Listening

    Pros: AMAZING sound quality.

Cons: Not the highest quality body. Can be uncomfortable after extended listening.

I would pay upwards of $50 of the sound of these headphones. If you are looking for something that will block out sound and let you hear music the way it was meant to be heard- buy these headphones. loved my first pair so much i bought a second one
