Pros: Inexpensive for people that just need to do a few jacks.

Cons: Blade isn't cutting all the way through solid core cat 5e, but you just need to wiggle the ends till they break off.

It's a decent unit for what it costs. Punched down solid core with no problem.

Pros: 110 blade punches down wires like it should
Has a small hook for pulling out punched down wires for rewiring
Reasonably sturdy for a $13 tool

Cons: 110 blade fails to trim excess wire when punching down
Impact is finicky at best, I ended up leaving it on low and just using hand power

A good enough tool for beginners and hobbyists.
If you do this for a living a higher-end tool will save you a lot of time and wasted effort.

    Pros: Price
    Well built
    Never failed me

Cons: Doesn't always trim wire end. Not that big of deal, just pull them off.

This is the first punchdown tool I've owned or used.. Worked perfect. Every cable has tested flawlessly.

Okay for the price, but for occasional users only

    Pros: Cheap

    Cons: Doesn't trim wire ends

This is an inexpensive tool which is good for occasional or light use. If I did this work every day, I would buy a better tool. I only had a few keystones to install, so it was okay for me. No matter what setting I used, It would not trim the wire ends every time, even after multiple punch-downs. I found it easier to punch it down once, then trim the wire ends myself.
