Coaxial Cable Stripper

Used by professional cable installers who need to make precise strips on either RG6 and RG59 cables. Simply squeeze the tool to insert the cable, release and spin it using the extra-large finger hole. Pull out the perfectly prepared cable. Strips 4,8, and 12mm lengths.

3 blades ensure accurate stripping length of each cable section. Built-in hex screws for accurate depth-of-cut adjustment. Preset stripping length of 12mm (8mm + 4mm). Blades may be repositioned to give a 10mm (6mm + 4mm) stripped length.

  • For RG58, RG59, RG62 & RG6
  • Fixed 3-blade construction
  • Strips cable-jacket, shield & insulation

Pros: cheap

This works well once you adjust it properly. Follow the directions in the reviews on how to adjust it. I have RG6 quad shield and it works perfectly, does not cut braiding, etc.

Simple and Inexpensive

Pros: Easy to use

Cons: None so far

I purchased this stripper along with the 7050 RG6 compression tool to clean up some coax wiring in my house. I've played with coax cabling a little in the past but I recommend checking out any of the YouTube videos for proper use of a stripper tool. After a quick refresher lesson, the first trial was a success. No adjustments necessary on the tool. Simple to use and very inexpensive without being cheaply built. This stripper should last a long time for normal residential use.

Works well, and is a real bargain

Pros: Strip length is appropriate for Kings trim code 3-661-1 (full crimp BNC connectors for Belden 1694A and 1695A HD video coax).

Cons: None.

A real bargain. I bought two. Optimized the cut depth of one for 3 GHz Belden 1695A coax, and the other for the slightly larger diameter of 4.5 GHz Belden 1694A. With careful use the results are perfect nearly every time.

Great for BNC!!!

Pros: This is the stripper to get for use with BNC connectors.

Cons: If you want to get the same model of stripper and have it arrive properly configured for F connectors, get tool 3360 instead.

I am a professional cable installer, and occasionally need to do BNC connectors. I use 3360 for +99% of my cable prep, but this one makes BNC easy.
