Works great. Came with installation DVD that made driver software installation easy. After that just plugged in the device in an empty USB 2.0 port

    2.4Ghz Only

    Pros: Small, good for 2.4Ghz

    Cons: Drivers are old,
    Only 2.4Ghz supported

This is my first review on monoprice after being a very satisfied customer for several years, and this the first time I have been unhappy with a purchase. I realize that the description clearly says 2.4Ghz, but in this day and age I just assumed that monoprice wouldn't be selling an adapter that doesn't support the superior 5Ghz band. In the same way I wouldn't expect a new HDTV to only have component video inputs without HDMI. My fault for not noticing, but I would be surprised if I am alone. Especially when they currently several dual band routers. Its not like 5Ghz is bleeding edge technology.

Pros: Easy to install and works great.

    Cons: None so far.

Software was easy to install and brought an old Insignia PC back to life. The connection is fast and the price is great, I would buy another one.

Pros: Works better than the built in, twice the speed!
For the price well worth it.

Cons: Delivery time, which I hear has been fixed.

Follow the instructions and install will work fine. This product is well worth it, I bought due to an older laptop that is lacking. Plugged this in and the speed more than doubled to 144 Mbps.
