    Pros: price

    Cons: defective

When I received this I attached it to the HDMI cable to the TV and to my (late 2011) Macbook Pro. Did not work. I took the adapter, the cable and the Macbook to my local Mac Superstore: the tech assured me it should work fine, but when we hooked it all up to their TV, it did not work. So we swapped out the adapter for one of theirs off the shelf, and it worked right away perfectly. So, I bought that one and returned the defective one to Monoprice. The 4 HDMI cables I bought from Monoprice are fine.

    Pros: Price

    Cons: lack of dependability

This normally is a great adapter, but now it just gives a green screen. Now I need to replace it...

    Pros: Easy. Plug and play.

    Cons: None so far.

I just bought a MacBook Air (2/2016) and don't know a lot about tech/specs. This was really easy, just plug and play. Audio and video go through clearly. If it holds up, I would highly recommend this product!
