    Great Little thing
Works great for relieving stress on your laptop's HDMI port. It's a must have for anyone who likes to stream HULU/Netflix or whatever from their laptop

PROS: Solved my problem. couldn't get the thick HDMI cable out of the wall to bend enough. I had specs on my TV. I have my TV on the wall over the fireplace and the amp and PS3 on the other side of the room next to the computer.

CONS: Could be a little longer

    good product
If you have a stiff HDMI wire coming out of the wall because you actually used an in-wall rated cable and they don't flex as well as non-rated cables, then this can help for two reasons: it is flexible enough to make the tight turn you sometimes need to keep the cable from being visible, and it saves the stress on the in-wall cable run. If this fails from being kinked, it's replaced much easier than if you had to replace the wire in the wall.

If this product won't do what you need, look at: 4859, 4860, 3733, and 3850.

Another use of this product is if you need an extra couple of inches because you got a bigger screen, a different model TV where the inputs are further away from where your cable comes out, or you just misjudged how much of the cable length those gentle turns are eating up.

    PROS: Cheap, effective.

    This Cable
The cable should come with different size thumbscrews. It would allow you to match the thumbscrew thread size to your equipment.

    PROS: Great Idea.

CONS: I purchased these for my Denon AVR. Unfortunately, the thread size of the adapters thumbscrew did not match that of the Denon receiver.

    Must have
This is a must have for the 22 ga HDMI cable Monoprice offers. Nearly tore the HDMI port out of my new Denon receiver until I got this port saver. Great price too.

    PROS: Good video quality

    CONS: None

    A Must-Have for Flat-Panel Wall-Mount
For my latest flat-panel wall-mount installation, I bought: 8-inch 28AWG High Speed w/ Ethernet Male to Female HDMI Port Saver - Black (6061) HDMI Port Saver Adapter (Male to Female) - Swiveling Type (5133) and HDMI Port Saver (Male to Female) - 90 Degree (3733). Knew I'd need at least one of these and in the end I used both the 8-inch cable and the swiveling male-to-female connector. Space is tight between the flat-panel and the wall, these make it possible to mount using low-profile mounting bracket without overly stressing the primary HDMI cable (which otherwise would have had to make a really tight bend to mate with the HDMI connector on the back of my Samsung TV).

    PROS: Quality product
    Works as advertised
    Value for money
    Prompt shipment

I ordered these for 22AWG long HDMI cables
I ordered these port saver cables to terminate a 75' 22AWG HDMI cable, which is very thick, to save the ports on my signal source and TV...to keep the ports from breaking due to the very thick gauge cable required for a 75' run. Very good quality cable.

PROS: Very flexible and no signal loss

    CONS: None

    Always use a port saver
I am an AV professional and I use these on ALL my clients new systems. I learned the hard way when I ran short of port savers on one job and muscled in the heavy duty cable into the amp port without a port saver. Thinking it would be ok until I returned with a port saver to relieve the right angle tension on the cable... NOT. Of course the connectors on the hdmi cable distorted and failed. It was a 25 foot in wall prewired run and fortunately, I had run in a back up cable from the monitor to the head in... Lesson leaned.. Do NOT intall a heavy duty Monoprice cable into a tight angled installation without a port saver, even for a moment. You can ruin the cable and/or the component.

PROS: Great item. Inexpensive and necessary on all in wall cable installs with tight angles into components.

CONS: None really. But I will add that Monoprice should make sure quality control is on top of the cable connectors to insure they are durable. Your prices are already very, very competitive. Spend a little more and make sure the female and male fittings will withstand a little pressure and repeated plugging and unplugging.

    Works perfect for Chromecast
I bought this to supplement my 1st Gen Chromecast and it works perfectly. It's stiff at first but once you flex it a couple times, it breaks in. Even the media controls over HDMI work fine with it. I recommend this 100%.

    PROS: Inexpensive, flexible, heavy duty

    CONS: N/A
