Causes flicker with some devices. Overall not so bad of a solution

Pros: Saves space and possibly reduces tension of the cable wight with horizontal straight HDMU pug

Cons: Causes flickering in some of my devices. No idea why, but I am sure it is not the cable or the device.

I bought there to make some space in the back of the TV and to make sure the HDMI plugs are not under the pressure of the weight of the cable itself,

    Order Extras

    Pros: Does the job.

Cons: One of the two didn't work.

I ordered an extra adapter as they were so cheap. The first one I tried was defective, but the second one worked fine. It wasn't worth the trouble to get a replacement, so I didn't bother to ask. Just order a spare.

    Hello,

Thank you for your review and sorry to hear of the issue you experienced with one of the adapters. If you would like I can set up an RMA for a replacement or a refund on the defective adapter. A replacement would be at no extra cost to you. If we were to require the defective adapter back we would provide a pre-paid return label but it would be very unlikely that we would need the defective one back. Just let me know and I can help set that up.

    Regards,

Totally not necessary to replace the broken one. The adapter only cost a couple of dollars and isn't worth any more trouble. The other one we have works fine. You are very kind to offer though, Thanks, Pam Reed

    Great to tight spots

Pros: Helps install an HMDI cable in places that are hard to reach
Avoids bending the cable to much to get a fit
    Reduces damage to components
    Great price

    Cons: None

My TV is wall mounted. I needed to install a new HMDI cable and there just wasn't enough room to get my hand back there, let alone see what I was doing. The cable was very stiff and tough to deal with. Using this adaptor I was able to come in from the top of my TV and swivel the adaptor so I could see the plug and it was easy to connect.

    Cheap

    Pros: Cheap

    Cons: Cheap

Purchased 10 of these. Was doing a big installation on a new building using the thick HDMI cables (2804) which happens to have a very thick head as well. While these worked, the plastic housing splits open easily and need to be snapped back together. We basically would wrap each portion of the swivel with electrical tape to insure they do not split open after installation. Also to help secure the adapter to the cable (so it does not slip off).

As I read from other reviewers, these may start to cause issues over time. If that becomes the issue, I'll update the review as well.

    Pros: Cheap

    Cons: Cheap and don't last

They worked for a few months then started causing connectivity issues that were resolved when removed.

    Hello RCR,

I am truly sorry to hear about the connectivity issues experienced with PID 5133. Just to verify, do both port savers on this order cause these problems? If you would like, I can assist you in setting up an RMA for replacement(s) as we cover this product with a one year warranty. Please let me know if you would like to proceed. My apologies again for any inconvenience and thank you for your feedback.

Yes I believe they both caused problems that were fixed by removing both. I would like replacements if that is possible.

    Thank you,
