    24-Port USB 2.0 HUB w/ AC Adapter

You'll never run out of available USB ports with this 24-port USB Hub from Monoprice!

This hub includes 24 output ports and can be operated without external power, but best results will be obtained by using the included AC adaptor. The hub supports USB switch methods and asynchronous notification, eliminating the need for host polling to determine if a device has been added, removed, etc. It operates at USB 2.0 speeds, but is backwards compatible with USB 1.1 devices.

Pros: Did work for two years.

Cons: Odd shape makes it difficult to install into an equipment rack or on shelf. Did not last... Died after two years. No warranty.

    WAS a great hub

Pros: For the time it worked - it was great - the ability to have more than 7 or 10 ports is great.

Cons: Unplugged the Mini USB cable, went to plug it in, and the connection broke on the inside. I got it open after an hour (there ought to be some type of manual here only to find that the mini USB connection had come of the 6 or so solder joints hold it together. Not sure I know how to solder this back together, and since I've had it a little over a year, that's it. :-(

Very convenient to have 24 USB ports in the device, but only if it works.

Pros: Humongous number of ports. Cleverly designed so that you can actually access them (not crammed into one side of adapter).

    Cons: None.

I want a zillion port USB adapter.

That's not going to happen, but if it ever does, it would be from Monoprice.

I have a fairly large number of computers (a render farm, eight laptops all mine, all used regularly, four desktops at my work and home), and they all have and need USB peripherals.

I've bought almost every brand available. I've always pushed the envelope as far as number of ports, looking for, buying, and using the largest port-count USB adapters I can get.

Most, frankly, disappoint. This one *delights*.

In typical Monoprice fashion, this is a low-cost unit that delivers superior, durable performance in a clever, well-designed unit. With 24 ports, a single flat face would be a nightmare to use how do you select and remove just one without bumping or dislodging others? With the two-layer circular design, this allows enough room to place or remove individual USB devices with much less chance of disrupting adjacent cables.

Some may think of this unit as a "wiring nightmare", but that criticism is easily overcome with thoughtful cabling and if having so many ports is "troublesome", why, then, feel free to buy a lesser unit for more money with poorer or non-existent support (*snort of laughter*).

If you want one of the largest USB adapter units that is well made and reasonably priced, this is it.

I write this review solely from my experience, and without any influence from anyone or any company of any sort for any reason. Monoprice, as always, you *rock*!

Pros: Considering its size its not that big which is ok
It works great, i plugged this into a USB 3.0 port on the back of my tower and it has really transfer speeds!
LOTS of ports, as a tech im always using lots of devices and this takes the hassle away from having to unplug things from the back on a constant biases

    Cons: None

Really great USB hub for sure, good quality. It works much better than the hubs that you can buy at a retail stores, and it has a great price.
