    Looks nice, works as expected
I would recommend this product to others.

    PROS: * Attractive Finish

    * Mini-USB connector with cable for attaching to computer very convenient

    * Like that there is a DC connector so that I could add a power supply if desired.

CONS: None I can think of.

    Simple & Works
Simple, compact design seems like it would hold up well to normal use. I appreciate that there is a socket for an AC adaptor, but there is no indication either on the unit itself or the packaging, or the Monoprice website stating what voltage or polarity plug to use. It's a thoughtful feature, but not terribly useful if it isn't supported.

    PROS: Small. Works.

CONS: No indication of what type of AC adaptor to use.

    Response from Monoprice
    Hi Greg,

I apologize for the lack of information. PID 10067 uses a 5V, 2A adapter. 3.5mm OD 1mm ID . Without the adapter, the total power is 500mAh for 4 ports. With the 5V 2A adapter, each port is about 500mAh. Thank you for your feedback and hope this helps!

seems to work, but a little odd
a review on another color of this hub says 5V 2A is recommended. I believe this is based on 4 ports times 500mA per port is 2000mA total, or 2A. you can use any 5V supply with more than 500mA as long as you don't plug in enough to exceed what your supply is rated for.

additionally, the power supply appears to expect "tip positive" which is the most common kind.

PROS: Small, option for external power. also works as multi-port USB charger if you use external power and don't plug into a computer.

CONS: doesn't come with power adapter or documentation for power requirements.

    Misled by listing
We all know Monoprice has fantastically cheap products which often come at the price of bare-bones description. This is on of the times I've fallen victim to those (lack of) descriptions. I purchased this thinking it would be a good solution to my wife and I fighting over the two power outlets we do most of our charging on. From the shape, I thought it plugged into the wall and charged four USB devices. Not so. This is a USB hub which can connect four devices to a computer or Playstation or whatever. However, it is not power so charging more than one device on it takes quite a lot more time. Also, it requires yet another charging cable and an adapter, so your charging station ends up having even more wires than before.
