Ultra Slim Active High Speed HDMI® Cable with RedMere® Technology, 10ft Black

Reliably connect your home theater equipment to greater distances than with passive cables using this Ultra Slim Active High Speed HDMI® Cable with RedMere® Technology from Monoprice!

This High Speed HDMI Cable supports the following general features:

    • Active signal regeneration to ensure accurate reproduction over longer distances
    • 10.2Gbps data throughput
    • Connector heads measure only 0.6" x 0.3" (17 x 7 mm)
    • Tooled polycarbonate connector heads with Zinc alloy shielding
    • 36AWG copper conductors
    • Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) jacket for superior durability
    • Gold plated connectors

It supports the following HDMI features:

    • 1080p resolution at 60Hz
    • 4K resolution at 24Hz
    • 3D video
    • HDMI Ethernet Channel
    • Audio Return Channel
    • Deep Color up to 16-bits per channel
    • x.v.Color™
    • High Definition Audio, including SA-CD, DVD-Audio, DTS-HD Master Audio™, and Dolby TrueHD™

Note that Active HDMI cables are directional. Check each end for markings indicating whether it should be connected to the source or the display device. Connecting them backwards will not hurt anything, they just won't work until connected properly.

Note also that only one Active HDMI cable should be present in any single cable run, even if using a switch, splitter, or matrix. Connecting multiple active HDMI cables in series will cause them to fail to reliably transmit the video signal because each is trying to do the same thing.

    Ez on the wallet

    Cons: Zero

I've bn using Monoprice for many moons. You cant beat the price/quality!!!
However these lil boogers thru me. I hooked all 3 of them up and noting happened. I had ordered these in 6 ft but came up to short so I got 10 ft. No Signal, nothing, the 6 ft had no issues.
I was salty....................got on the phone and was holding 4 CS when I read below the description ( as I was trying 2 c the difference tween the 6ft/10ft) and.........................""Note that Active HDMI cables are directional. Check each end for markings indicating whether it should be connected to the source or the display device. Connecting them backwards will not hurt anything, they just won't work until connected properly.""

TA DA!!!!!!!!!!! I never had seen one directional cables before..........duh!!! and whats the chance I hooked ALL 3 wrong......smh. Hooked them up the right way n everything is fine. I bought the 8288 Cable mngmnt kit and hid 3 of these tiny bebes + a power cord.

This is a good cable, I recently hooked up my 4K tv and sound system with these slim HDMI cables. I have great picture quality and no lagging in sound from my tv to sound bar, the cable does not take up a lot of space and it's very flexible which allow me to hook up my cable box to tv.

Best HDMI Cable On The Market

    Pros: Cheap
    Ultra Thin
    Redmere

    Cons: None

Honestly, the best HDMI cable on the market, and whoever differs doesn't know anything about the technology behind these cables. Go ahead, spend $60 to $100 on HDMI cables in the store that are literally just a regular HDMI cable. I'm sorry but I laugh at people who go into Best Buy or PC Richards, and drop over $100 on an HDMI cable when you can spend $10 on these cables or even less on a regular HDMI cable from Monoprice that will be better than the ones in the store anyway. I have 3 of these cables and they all perform flawlessly. You can just tell how good they are. I swear I have a crisper picture using these than normal ones even though the technology in the cable isn't designed for a more crisp picture. The chip in these cables are there to deliver great quality at long distances. Let's say you buy a 25ft regular HDMI cable. You're going to have better quality using a 25ft redmere HDMI cable instead as the chip pretty much boosts the signal for long distances. However, I use them anyway because I like to have the best of the best. If you're only going let's say 3ft then a regular HDMI cable would be just fine but if you want the best of the best then buy these HDMI cables.
