15ft 28AWG Standard HDMI® Cable With Ethernet w/ Ferrite Cores - Black
A Standard HDMI® Cable With Ethernet from Monoprice is the only way to ensure that you have the ability to pass the standard and Ethernet signals authorized in the latest HDMI® feature specification.
Ferrite Cores are small magnetic blocks wrapped around the end of a cable. They are used to suppress EMI/RFI electronic noise on the cable by absorbing the unwanted high frequencies and dissipating them as very low-level heat. This is the simplest and cheapest form of electronic noise reduction and is most effective on small gauge cabling, which is inherently more susceptible to electronic noise interference than thicker cables.
This cable supports the following HDMI® features:
720p/1080i Resolution - The Standard HDMI® Cable With Ethernet has sufficient bandwidth to transfer 720p/1080i video signals between 720p/1080i rated source and sink (display) devices.
HDMI® Ethernet Channel - The HDMI® Ethernet Channel provides 100 Mbps, full-duplex Ethernet traffic along the HDMI® cable, allowing a wired or wireless Ethernet connection on one device to be propagated to other devices. Note that for this feature to be functional, all pieces of equipment between the Ethernet source and the destination must support the HDMI® Ethernet Channel feature.
Audio Return Channel - Normally, your HDMI® cable carries audio information along with the video from a source device (e.g. blu-ray player) to the sink device (display/television). Often times this goes through an AV receiver to drive a home theater audio system. The Audio Return Channel is primarily used to send the audio signal generated by the television when its internal tuner is used, back to the AV receiver, so that you can use your home theater audio system when watching television signals.
Deep Color - The Deep Color feature provides a minimum of 8-bits per color element (24-bits total), providing for a total of over 16 million color variations. Other versions of Deep Color allow for up to 16-bits per element, for a total of 48-bits and over 281 trillion color variations, which really makes your video images come to life!

I recently had the opportunity to test Monoprice HDMI cables with equipment running at 1080p 60Hz with HDCP 148.5MHz The results were very positive.
Please note that success at 1080p depends on a lot of factors including quality of TMDS transmitters, receivers, and anything you might have connected to the cables like HDMI switches, repeaters, HDMI>DVD adapters, etc., therefore these test results should be taken as a data point and not as a guarantee the cables will be problem free @ 1080p with your specific equipment.
For example, during initial testing I had discovered through process of elimination that one of the HDMI>DVI adapters I was using could not reliably pass 1080p. At first I thought the cables were the issue, but after switching out the adapters, the cables worked great.
Also please note, even though some of these cables are listed as only 1080i certified, they did nevertheless pass 1080p without issues for the equipment combination I used. See this post for what was tested at the factory: http://www.avsforum.com/avsvb/show...4&post6953664
The process of listing a cable as passing visual inspection involved looking at black screen for 30 seconds to detect sparkles, then watching video for 1 minute to detect additional artifacts.
Sharp LC45GX6U is a 1920x1080 LCD display which accepts 1080p and 1080p/hdcp when devices are connected directly to the panel, bypassing the external video processor.
