3ft Premium 3.5mm Stereo Male to 3.5mm Stereo Female 22AWG Extension Cable (Gold Plated) - Black

The 3.5mm (1/8") stereo TRS connector is more commonly known as the Headphone Jack on portable mp3 players and mobile phones. This cable features a male 3.5mm stereo (TRS) plug on one end and a female 3.5mm stereo jack on the other end, each with molded connector housings and strain relief boots. Each connector is gold-plated to ensure smooth, corrosion-free connections.

The cable is made of heavy-duty coaxial cable for each conductor. The conductors are 22AWG and each conductor is shield to prevent EMI or RFI interference from entering your audio system. The cable is 12mm x 6mm thick, while the connector housings are 41mm long x 15mm diameter.

Because of their size and weight these cables are best suited for more permanent connections, such as from your PC to your sound system. If you want something more suitable for portable applications, please try one of our standard 3.5mm audio cables.

    Making it work
I bought two of these a few months back, one for me and one for my coworker. If you plug headphones directly into it, it either doesn't work at all, or sounds really bad. I have MacGyver'd it with tape and a bead so that my headphones are barely plugged in and hitting the side, and it sounds fine. The only annoyance with this is that when I move it sometimes pulls it out. we've had them for a few months, now finally going to purchase some better ones.

Go to a local store and pay 10x the amount for a lesser cable.

I'm no audiophile, but this thing gets the job done when extending my monitors audio to my speakers!

An amazing quality for the price! excellent. I bought 2 of them.

PROS: HOLY CRAP is this a serious cable. This is probably a 10awg even though the description says 22awg.... You could hang yourself with this... Not that I think you should and you shouldn't..... but you could....

CONS: The end is big, if have a tight space good luck... But it is contoured down to help..

    Well built headphone extension
This is a stiff cable with heavy plugs. I got it to replace an earphone extension cable that was bad. Unfortunately it is so heavy and stiff it is difficult to use with earphones when you are mobile. Instead I use it at work to extend the headphone jack to a point on my desk where I can easily plug in my earphones or a pair of headphones I keep at work and listen to music. While it is plugged in no sounds come out of the speakers but as soon as I plug in earphones or headphones, I get sound. It's better than trying to use the mute button!

    Good Quality but HUGE
The ends are VERY large, so when I tried using them on the back of my motherboard, they didn't even fit next to each other. Not going to give it a lower rating, but it's just something you should be aware of.

    PROS: Strong, heavy-duty quality.

    CONS: Ends are massive.

    Heavy Duty Cable
Great heavy duty cable but do not buy if you need it to fit into small spaces or around sharp corners.

PROS: Heavy duty cable. Very Durable. Works great

CONS: Cable is very thick (1/4") and connectors are large and bulky. Not very flexible.
