1X2 PRO Series Powered HDMI® Splitter with 3D support (Rev. 2.0)

Watch your video content on two displays at the same time using this 1x2 HDMI® Splitter from Monoprice!

This splitter features an internal amplifier, which boosts the HDMI signal and allows the use of longer than normal HDMI cable runs. The one HDMI input and two HDMI output ports are gold-plated to ensure smooth, corrosion-free connections. The splitter is powered by an included 5 VDC, 1A AC adapter.

The splitter supports High Speed HDMI signals, which means that it supports the following HDMI features:

    • 1080p Resolution - It supports the full 1080p@60Hz HDMI resolution.
    • 3D Video - It supports all standard HDMI 3D modes.
    • Deep Color - It supports deep color up to 12-bits per channel, 36-bits total.
    • High Definition Audio - It supports high-definition multi-channel audio signals, including Dolby TrueHD™ and DTS-HD Master Audio™.

Note: Monoprice strongly recommends using 22AWG, 24AWG, or active HDMI cables with Redmere technology to achieve the best results and to ensure minimum signal loss over longer distances.

Unlike a previous commenter, i found the Dolby signal passed-thru this splitter unlike 2 other cheaper ones I purchased elsewhere.

Pros: Seems to be well built in a metal case, small footprint, easy to set up

    Cons: none

I purchased this two way HDMI splitter to help a friend cast a powerpoint presentation to two monitors from her Windows 10 laptop. I was concerned there would be configuration issues because I was using a combination of regular HDMI cables and active ultra slim cables and two different tv displays. I plugged in the cables set the A/B switch to A and powered on and everything worked perfectly with no additional configuration.

Pros: Splits the signal to another TV and gets rid of HCDP warning.

Cons: Loss of Dolby Digital signal.

Works but when I use the splitter I lose Dolby Digital sound through my receiver...I tried switching the cables and with the splitter Dolby Digital without the splitter I get Pro-Logic. The cables Im using are solid as well.
Does the job splitting the signal to both TV's.

Pros: Work perfect as HDMI splitters, no long term problems other than the power-on LEDs.

Cons: Poor quality control regarding the power LEDs.

I own three of these. Two bought 1.5 years ago, and I just bought another. Within three months of buying the first two, the power LED burned-out on one of them. Now I just bought another and it's power LED is 3x brighter than the old one that still works.
So, I've got three of these stacked on my TV cart, one has no power LED, the next has a dim LED, and the third has a super-bright LED. While they all work good as splitters, they looks stupid stacked. Poor quality control on MonoPrice's part.
